Can a move over law affect CDL?

    I slow down going 20 in a 65 due to the care for a cop car pulled over someone on the right shoulder. A car was beside me in the left lane while I got my left indicator on. Plus I pass a sign saying no trucks should be in the left lane at that moment so I slow down to 20mph to pass the officer safely. He gave me a ticket saying “he don’t care if a car was beside me “ or “if I slow down to 5mph “. So he wrote on the ticket “there was no vehicle in the left lane hindering me from moving over “ when there was actually a car beside me that didn’t wanna yield to me though I got my left indicator on cause I’m in a big truck at that time. Can I fight this with a lawyer or I’m ####ed

    Yes what state please. If I had to guess it's either OH, PA or WVa. Either 70, 80 or 40 respectively.

    Yes it can affect CDL among other things.

    IL is a #### good bet. I'll slide my cash and pitch in for IL too.

    Traffic control devices and so on.

    If what you say is true then that is just one more power trippin' cop.
    I would fight it, plus have cameras at all angles. It unfortunately seems necessary these days.

    They need to crack down on this nationwide.
