Exactly. In addition in this day and age with more drivers on the roads some of them don’t even know the BASICS,not just because of language barriers but also they haven’t been exposed to different traffic and/or weather conditions.

The ONLY state I haven’t been to is Montana(been everywhere else where people run 70-85 m.p.h. while my truck is governed @ 65 m.p.h.-66 in spurts).
Montana is on my bucket list though.lmao

I once had a mercury that just would not MOVE.

I simply stopped dead deliberately trying to get around car across three lanes.

Law man shows up. I point to offending car. Law man calls huge wrecker. Bends into the window and says a few hard words to the stubborn. (There is about 10,000,000 people wanting to kill me bad by now...)

The wrecker picked up the car and drove off with him in it.

Thankfully this is way before cell, cameras or any of that crap.

I had to go to the ER and tell the story to the doctor who thought I was having seizures because it was so funny. You had to be there.

That would have been platinum viral a very long time ago.

They say the laughter is good medicine. I second that. But I don't like being chewed out and having to deal with the wreckage after.

I was able to leave the job without doing anything outrageous. And it's just quite something in those days.

Sometimes I wonder. Spend 40 years being a wrecker man. Its not for me. There are people who can do this work way way way better than I can ever. I would be the first to admit that.

Not my call-I don’t own the truck or the company!
Could be worse-you could be stuck behind a CRE,Prime Inc or Swift truck governed @ 62-63 m.p.h.;)

Rest assured, you’re not dealing with a spring chicken here!;)
As I’ve said previously, the only state I haven’t been to is Montana! I’ve been to just about every other state in the 48 contiguous United States! My company has sent me from Gaylord,Minnesota to Fremont, California, from Jurupa Valley,California to Laredo,Texas and just about everywhere else in between!

    The joys of reefer madness!:D

Your blinker is not a suggestion in a big truck. Give them a few seconds and start coming over. They will move, don’t get in pissing matches with cars, it’s like herding cats.
