Can anyone comment on Peterbilt or KW Nav plus?

    built-in GPS systems are too expensive, and more expensive to update later compared to portables. The portable units are made in great volume, update more often (except RM). It is nice to have the built-in screen which integrates with the truck stereo and bluetooth.

    Every maker of GPS units buys map data from the same vendors.

    Usually Rand-McNally. Even the updates have serious issues...but...that RM-branded tech. Their printed maps are still awesome, though.
