    My buddy went CR ENGLAND in Salt lake Got his lic, trained, after 1 year you can hire on with some CO. that treats you with respect

    Maybe for Class B, but for Class A (from another thread on this forum I wrote)...

    New regulations for 2010 in process:
    Proposal of 44 hours behind the wheel training and 76 hours of classroom training before you could test for and receive your Class A CDL. This also has the requirement that all of this be done at an accredited school with qualified instructors.
    Final approval is in process this month with target date of May 2010 to publish the final rule in the Federal Register

    Well no luck with the phone book today :biggrin_25510: I guess I'll just have to deal with one of these bigger companies. The expedite for Class A drivers they want experience also. Well like I said before if anybody know anybody who can help just let me know. Thanks to all.

    Take a drive around your closest towns,........Soda,Beer and Food distributors are usually willing to train if you have some decent costumer service skills,...

    Heck,...You might even find a job you like,...

    But it takes some ground pounding and door knocking,...

    Like it says , it's proposed . Even if it is approved it won't go into effect until 3 years after final approval . CDL mills love to quote these proposals .
