Can CBD gummies cause someone to fail a DOT Physical?

    It's my understanding that CBD gummies have cannibis in them, but not THC. So I don't know whether or not consuming CBD gummies could cause someone to fail a DOT Physical.

    Can consuming CBD gummies cause someone to fail a DOT Physical?

    No. Not a physical. But a drug test, yes. Because there is no oversight in the CBD business, many products end up containing more than the allowable amounts of THC. The FMCSA has issued warnings to drivers not to use CBD products. If you do you could very easily fail a drug test. And saying you only used CBD stuff will do you no good. A fail is a fail.

    There is absolutely no guarantee of the quality of any cbd product on the market today as there is no standards as Kemosabi mentioned so either you don’t use it which is the best idea or you run the risk of testing positive and of you test positive. Cbd is not a cure all as being sold to the public, it is all about money and only money.

    I meant the drug test that comes with the DOT Physical.

    I wouldn't take a chance. Generally, I heard there is not enough thc to cause a false +, but long term use could. It seems, these products have no guideline and are made at the same places regular gummies are made, so some thc can get in. Besides, I think it's all snake oil anyway, and people make some crazy claims it helps, but I don't think so.

    There is no drug test when you do the DOT physical. They’re only checking to see if you have the diabetes.
