You are sadly mistaken if you believe they don't do that here in America. I've been stopped for a #### immigration checkpoint in Austin, Texas before. Not even close to the border.

I told the dude to go #### himself, of course, when asked for proof I was a citizen. "Go #### yourself, this ain't Nazi Germany pal."

Change the word passport to log book and the 24 hours to 10 hours and there you see the difference between the countries.

Appreciate the correction. As I said before my memory turns to crap all these years. Might as well.

Well when im in my pickup the cops cant shut me down for 10..... but when im doing a heavily regulated cross border job... yeah, they can... if i dont like it, I'll find a different line of work. Was around before my time, and will be there after..

Well, I live in Northeast. Not many immigration checkpoints here. Just out of curiosity - how did that "dude" responded when you told him to go F himself???

I had one try and get funny with me at the scale in US-13 in Delmar.

I had a shipment of car wash soap, one drum of which was marked "combustible liquids", but with no class, on the delivery receipt. Well, Trooper So-and-so of the MSP who makes it clear he likes to harass LTL guys, thought he had me for a hazmat violation with that one. He made a call to the Maryland Department of the Environment's hazmat compliance unit, who told him my info was correct. Anything marked as "combustible liquids", as opposed to "flammable liquids", doesn't even have to be listed.

I wanted to laugh so bad.

Bear in mind of course that once one does this, the level 2 he would have gotten would more than likely become a level 1.

    I call BS.

There's a video on UTube of some D head that tries that in a Swift truck. I'll try & find it.
He gets windows smashed, arrested, truck impounded.
Please make us a video of you telling trooper go F himself.

    Calling BS on this.
