Got check engine light, code P245700 egr cooler. Thinking about trying to clean the sensor first, replace if that doesn't work.

Try it...whats the worse that can happen???? If it doesnt work you'll just have to replace it anyways......

Pull the gasket in front of the egr cooler and see if it is wet or has , well it sort of looks like cotton balls. If you do you need a new egr cooler.

I have to look it up, but I think the egr cooler is less than a year old. Volvo parts guaranteed for a year, if it's bad they'll replace it.
