Yeah Dude, travel light.....oh, an FYI for ya'.....most shippers shipping "weather protect" loads will give you space indoors to secure and tarp. Might even have the heat on !

One question. What does your trainer suggest you bring?

Close your eyes and imagine two adults living in a 10x10 box.

Noob starting orientation with Prime in a few weeks here... Will there be an opportunity to make contact with the trainer before being picked up? Would be nice to establish what's expected from me and the trainer beforehand.

Most of the time the company waits until you are completely through orientation before you get assigned a trainer. The trainervwill depend on your location of your home and if you smoke. After that, the trainer will call you and tell you when they will pick you up. From there you could ask all the questions you want. You really only need 7 pairs on clothes because you can wash on the road. Pack lightly.

Yeah, this is a one-step-at-a-time process. (getting into trucking) First things first, right ? Research the biz, go to truck school, get "pre-hired", attend AND finish orientation which includes road/wee-wee test, then you can talk about trainers and expectations.

You're not going to Bolivia either! If you forget something you are always within 20 miles of a Wally World. Just try not to buy crap from the truck stops.

    goodchoice10 Thanks this.
