can I drive a tractor trailer while taking ativan for generalized anxiety disorder?

Amen partner I got one too lol. Thought about getting it tattooed on me years ago glad I didn't.

This is a hot topic and always will be. Too many people see a label and immediatle shun it because its not the normal white picket fence lifestyle. When really there's a lot more of us out there who are very successful, and function normally all day every day with or without medication.

I must say god bless you and thank you!!! You understand it and I cannot thank you enough for that. There's enough problems and adversity people like you make it worth it.

 

yep I have read it and familiar with it, I would almost surmise that means an uncontrolled diagnosis. I also offer that if that is taken in strict context then the guys who throw trash in parking lots and who crap in Wal-Mart bags also suffer from a mental disability of the highest form.

tell ya what I will drive any day of the week on the road with a guy who is on meds for depression, anxiety, before I would with a guy who craps in a walmart bag and throws it in the parking lot. now really who is the bigger "nut"

 

what kind of meds would I need to take to keep me from crapping in a walmart bag?.And will they help me stop leaving em on the catwalk of the truck parked next to me ?

 

yeah ok .... look put your big boy pants on and grow up... sorry you cant get through a single day without your meds but hey get through it and move on.... you act like you go through so #### much but really you have no much more to deal with than any other person in this world. next time you think you need meds just realize that people in this world get through their everyday life just fine... so next time you think i don't know what i speak of then hey you come to me and you shall see that i somehow get through everyday life without meds so get over it pal....

 

bad thing is i bet there is a med for you to keep from doing that...

 

it would be nice if it were that easy for everyone, for your info I no longer take meds other than blood sugar and high blood pressure. but it isn't nearly as simple as you make out. and grow up, that's a good one .

and not everyone gets thru just fine, just because you do does not mean everyone else can, again you are far to simplistic in your statement.

all I am saying is don't just tell anyone across the board that medication may not be necessary. for some folks its a long road, I am fortunate, my road wasn't as long. and today young fellow I go thru nothing, life is good, I made it, I am one of the lucky ones. I just haven't ever forgot the road I traveleed to get here.

 

Oh really? what exactly do these amazing meds do for you? just because you take a pill does that mean you just feel so great that you can get through your day? I don't mean to start a fight but I'm so tired of everyone asking questions of hey i take this pill and this can i still drive? I am a firm believer that everyone could get through their day if they really tried... If that is being too simplistic then so be it but I have found that it is very easy for someone to go to a doctor and get diagnosed with something when really they have no problem at all... Maybe if someone that is that nervous about driving truck shouldn't truck at all

I don't know what Atavan does, I panic about 85 times a day. Mostly over 4 wheelers. If you ask your Doctor he/she might be able to prescribe something else.

 

the meds I take now control my blood pressure and blood sugar, that is proven evry day when I take my bp and blood sugar. I don't mind you quoting my posts, but at least quote all of it.

why not quote the part where I mention that you posted you get caught up in little things and get angry often? you do know those are classic signs of depression, along with trouble sleeping .
