Can I drive with this???

Company telling me to go to a diff shop. Looks bad and shop I’m at telling me I shouldn’t drive it. Any advice will help.

 

Why doesn’t the shop you are at just fix it?

 

I guess they wanna go the cheaper route.

If you’re not loaded take the wheels off and chain up the axle

 

How far away is this other shop? I wouldn’t run very far like that. You will destroy the whole wheel end, if it isn’t already. Which could leave your tandems fly right off, likely hitting a little old lady and leading to litigation.

 

Loaded @ 42k. & No chains. The shop they want me to go to is 90 miles away. Shop lady said have fire extinguisher ready or call dot so they have no choice but to fix it.

 

DO NOT CALL DOT. Call Speedco. And then, call your boss and tell him to go bang a cactus.

I’m just not gonna drive. Seems I’m gonna have more problems if I do. I rather not put myself in that situation.
