    Comes down to company policy. If your company don't have one then as long as you can blow a 0.0 when you go back on duty you're good

    However I've worked for companies that don't allow any alcohol while under dispatch.

    As long as you aren't drinking in your truck or intoxicated when starting your shift you can do whatever you want when you're off duty. Most companies I've worked for have a policy that states you must not have consumed any alcohol at least 4 hours prior to coming on duty, which I always found amusing. You either had a very short night of sleep or like beer for breakfast for that one to get in your way.)
