I bought the 8V92 from Smokincats W900A. He replaced it with a 3406.

I think its possible. I've seen a couple W900A's for sale on a buy and sell website with Series 60's in them.

I have contemplated doing this on mine. Shutters on the rad would have to go bye bye to make room for a CAC.

Hey its hot rodding. Nothan just falls together. You can do it. Ive retunneled cars to get different trans in. Or firewalls for engines. Just sometimes it only needs massaging. Enough time and money you can do anything. My grandfather put a 190cummins in a 1937 white. Taking out a 250 gasser. Then added turbo on front section of manifold. Making it a 220 with a mack duplex trans. Had to add tag axle because he now had way more power than truck. However had to run exhaust pipe thru cab on passanger side. He was never cold in winter. Anything can be done.

The easiest way to do this, Is to Buy a Wrecked/totalled truck with the Series60 In It & use it as donor.

At a Minimum you'll need all the Engine wiring harness (Including the Throttle Pedal).
It can be done & I know of several trucks that have had Similar repowers..

I think you missed what was said, if the truck is a standard hood and didnt come with a 3406 or 855 the likely hood of the Series 60 fitting is slim to none.

The standard hood trucks with 8v92s used the same firewall that was used in the extended hood trucks because the engine was so short.

I know that a 3406E/C15 would not have fit in mine because of the extra material used in the cylinder head, the series 60 is a pretty tall engine.

This is all the clearance there is in my truck.

A little fabrication goes a long way.
Many moons ago as a broke high school kid, i took a 2.3l 4 banger out of a 84 ford ranger and put a 351 Windsor in it. I also did a 77 280z with a 350 chevy.

    Firewalls can be reworked.

I've seen a 350 stuffed into a Geo Tracker. I've also seen a 4x4 PT Cruiser. Interestingly enough, the same neighbor is responsible for both.

    ANYTHING is possible...

Thats right. Where there is a will, there is a way.
Heck i saw one of those goofy chrysler roadster things stretched to fit a 12v92.
