Yes, you should be fine to drive, provided you don't have other issues like being lightheaded, dizzy from getting dehydrated and under nourished.

Get re-hydrated, get some food in you. 24 hours of antibiotics gets you non-communicable (aka, the rest of the world is safe from your germs), and 48 hours should see you feeling better, not well, but better.

Yeah, give it another day, and see how you feel. It hasn't gotten all through your system yet. The docs always told me that symptoms should improve in 48 hrs, if not call and they will call in something stronger. My boys both had strep and tonsillitis a lot growing up. Not fun.

Have to agree that it seems to get worse as you get older. Even a cold gets me down hard now. Haven't been bad enough to not drive but it sure makes for some crappy days.

Think Strep is bad as an adult....Try mono. I had it a few years ago. I was literaly bed ridden for 2 weeks. the fifteen steps from my bed to the bathroom and back and i felt like i ran the ny marathon. Throat was so sore i could barely handle chicken noodle soup and nothing solid. Lost 25 lbs that two weeks.

    Important safety information:

Amoxicillin may cause dizziness. This effect may be worse if you take it with alcohol or certain medicines. Use Amoxicillin with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to it.

Hormonal birth control (eg, birth control pills) may not work as well while you are using Amoxicillin. To prevent pregnancy, use an extra form of birth control (eg, condoms

Don't drive if you're dizzy, and don't get knocked up.

thats what this was like Wen and Thur this week, all i could do was sleep. I finally had enough energy to make it to the doctor on friday for some pills to make this sheet go away.

It was crazy to I had a fevor then i'd sweat it out (normally once you sweat it out its done) NOT THIS TIME, it kept comeing back over and over and over, like 2-3 times a day.

I'll be happy once this stuff is gone.
