The labels don't say you can't operate heavy equipment, they say don't do it until you see how the medicine affects you, most side affects go away in a few days anyway, if they are bothersome take them when you bunk down for the night.

Honestly, different people have different reactions to medications. So debating that is like debating how many beers it will take to get 15 guys drunk. Each one is going to have a different result.

AT how are you feeling today? Any better?

    You've turned into a 40+ year old woman!:biggrin_25522:

Your body is still trying to rid itself of the infection. Working as intended. Annoying as hell, but those little antibodies are cruising in formation throughout your blood stream on a search and destroy mission!

Keep drinking clear fluids, and eat what you can. Gotta feed those little soldiers.

Strep is the new STD? ROFL!:biggrin_25522:

Can anyone name any medicines you aren't allowed to drive on, or is it based on what your doctor tells you ?

Hey man at least you are at home. It sucks so bad being sick while your out there over the road. Can you imagine being stuck in your truck right now having to hike to the truck stop whenever you have to go to the bathroom. Or how bout being locked up in roach motel miles from a store and the only thing you can get is pizza delivery. Being sick, for me, is the absolute worst thing about trucking! I once ended up in a hospital for 6 weeks when we were over the road. After the 6 weeks I had to fly home for 6 months of recovery! The worst part was that my wife had to sleep in a chair in my hospital room for 2 nights then the rest of the 6 weeks she got a motel room.

Besides that though even just having a minor cold out there sucks.
