Sadly so many guys will pull that. The more i read this forum the more i see why ridiculously cheap freight is so easy for brokerages and 3pls to get moved.

I just looked right now. One Way Trailers is brokering a load from Sunnyvale, TX to Orlando, FL with an offer price of $250. That's 1103 miles, AND they are a "premium" broker. You have to subscribe to Truckloads to snag THAT gem.

That company is notoriously cheap. But also they give you something like 15 days to get to the destination and expect you to run multiple loads with it in the mean time.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

That's more than likely a load out. You can use the trailer to haul freight, but have to have the trailer at its destination by a pre determined date.

the rate on the southbound works out to 1.80 per running mile on round trip miles. wouldn't be anything to get excited about to run all the way back without a load. being you could probably get 10mpg on the return trip you could probably make a few bucks but based off your assessment of possible reloads. i think ill pass unless for some reason all my other freight goes dead.

    Oldironfan and Lepton1 Thank this.
