I would never adandon a truck. It ain't worth it but there isn't a home terminal. The closes one is 10 hours away.

Come on man that's not nice to give false information like that. In my opinion the muffler bearings are shot setting the abs light.

    YeaH, you're probably right.
I don't know what came over me to pen a post like that.
So to make amends, I went and asked a newbee for an answer to the OP's vehicular problems, while they still know everything. That newbee came up with something to consider, ---
dirty, fouled, gaped too wide, old spark plugs and/or defective spark plug and/or distributor wires.

I guess I asked too late.
Already forgot half the things they didn't know yet.

    :p
    ;)

It's a long shot but you could try turning all the truck power off by the switch on the floor and see if the computers will rest themselves. It's sounds like the truck need to go back into the shop.

If the HSA light is on you don't have Hill Start Assistance. If you push and hold the switch the light should go out so you have HSA again. If it on all the time it must need repairs just like the ABS

ABS could just be a loose sensor wire, or road grime built up in the ABS sprocket. Have you been running in any snowy and/or freezing wet weather? If so the road spray off your tires can freeze on the ABS sprocket until it resembles an ice frizzy, this can either mess up the sensor, knock wires loose, or even just cause the sensor to not be able to "see" the sprocket.

In the northwest this is a common winter issue, I usually just run it (as long as it drives still and "feels" safe) until I can get it into a shop to get it checked out.

So why not take it there and drop it off?
There has to be a record of all the problems with that truck. Make them look at it, and get a different truck.

Or did you lease the truck, and so are responsible for it?

    HILL START ASSISTANCE?!

That's something not valuable to operation of a big truck.

Get it to either a dealer or a ternimal. One way or another it's in need of attention. Again.

If the rest of the company tractors are in that similar condition and this is the third one... leave the company before something else comes along. You cannot do any trucking if you are always in the shop for this and that.

The only thing that will make me stay with a company like that is if they buy a brand new tractor with less than 20 miles on the clock and put me into it. (And a few companies have done this... as a remedy...)

HSA is only on trucks with auto shift transmission. It keeps the brakes on when you are on a hill so the truck doesn't roll back. My truck has it, I would get it fixed.

I'm going to rewrite the OP in the right way:

Many truck issues need new company. Husband and wife team need new company near x. We like y trailers. @Chinatown

Don't be 'working on it'. This problem has a solution that should be able to be implemented before this time next week.
