Broken trucks are not as unique as people think. We used to call in to breakdown and the first thing they would say is, can you drive it. If the answer was yes....he would say, drive it til it breaks down and we'll send a tow for you.
Ten minutes later I called back and said... it won't drive! LOL
Can some one please help me??

If my wife was on the truck , the last thing I'd want is to be moving 23, 2/2 hours per day.
If maximizing the productivity is all you think about , hooray.
But teams burn out for that reason.
Husband and wife ! Might want to do other things if they had the freedom to stop once in a while. Just sayin....TruckingSexy Thanks this. -
Congratulations on your esteemed accomplishments, all hail to "BoredSocial". I guess everyone but YOU has no right to an opinion.
There really Are other ways to live. -
The money you are thinking of sucks really bad divided across two people. In this country you need to make ~100k for a family of four to live the 'middle class' lifestyle. That means the truck needs to NET 100k a year at a minimum, and owning it outright means adding a ton of expenses and opportunities to screw up and cost yourself money.
A good team should be making way more than 100k working for a decent company. This is one of those rare situations where a good dedicated route with consistent miles is worth being a company driver for. They can just get a lot more value out of that team than the OP can.
