When I call they ask for the 4 digit number of the recruiter I am interested in talking to. I am sure some of you had a good experience with your recruiter.

    RULE #1 in trucking
Recruiters will tell you ANYTHING YOU WANT TO HERE.
Then once your hired, could careless about you.

Just call the operator and ask them to connect you to a recruiter mine wasn't bad but I kind of agree with skibum, I would recommend asking other drivers questions.

Asking for a good recruiter would be more productive if you were more specific what type of trucking you want/ are qualifyed for , ie starter, flat , van , ect , regional or otr , ect not trying to judge ,hope this helps, thanks

Odd question, but heck, can't hurt to ask. More then likely get a recruiter recommending them self

The responses are confusing to me. I already know that recruiters only care about themselves. However, am I not required to go through a recruiter if I want to work for PRIME?

I'm just asking for the name of a decent one that I can work with. (Perhaps they are all equally awful so it doesn't matter)

In the immortal words of John McEnroe, "You cannot be serious!" Those words and concepts, recruiter and good, don't belong in the same sentence, and they never exist together in realtime. Never. Recruiters are paid for performance, bonuses, so on, and their sole task, sole motivation is to sign up drivers. If they are working for a good company, it's one of those "somebody has to do it" things. If they're working for a ripoff company, they should know better, and so should you. Don't worry about the recruiter, take a hard look at the company. Turnover ratio, miles driven, ask around for people who drive for them, do some due diligence. There you go.

Ask for Haley, she was my recruiter she got me in pretty quick. And was always fast to respond when I left a message.
