So I've been thinking of joining Schneider ic but have a few questions about leasing a truck.

Number 1. What exactly is a freight lane? Does a freight lane determine how often you get home?

Number 2? What makes a something a good freight lane..

Number 3? Does Dallas have good freight lane

As a fleece operator with Schneider, dont even worry about freight lanes. They'll tell you where you're going.

You better keep driving as company driver & learn more. Dallas freight depends where you want to head to.

Someone will be along shortly to give a direct answer to. However based on the question themselves. Stay company driver till you learn the answers from experiance.

The correct answer to question number 1
DONT DO IT! YOUR NOT READY FOR IC.

The correct answer to question number 2
DONT DO IT! YOUR NOT READY FOR IC

The correct answer to question number 3
DON'T DO IT! YOUR NOT READY FOR IC

Most of the time a new l.p. will take a good paying load to a dead zone then either have to dead head or take $1 mile crap cause they don't know any better.

If I'm asking questions obviously I'm not ready, but it means I'm trying to gain information. You think I'm going to have 3 questions about freight lanes answers on an internet forum then wake up tomorrow and sign on to lease a truck?

I don't know why people like you act like that.

Then don't do it. This is where people get in trouble signing a lease & not knowing anything about costs then when they don't make it who do they blame- the company.

They are saying that because we have seen hundreds of people jump in to IC WAY TO SOON, only to come back on here, after seeking advice and told not to IC, whining and complaining about losing EVERYTHING... Easiest way to make a million dollars in Trucking is to start with two million

I never said I don't know anything at all about cost..the thread topic is specifically about fright lanes. That is the question I have at the moment.

When you're in school they don't teach you everything in one day. You learn everything one thing at a time.

    Just passing by Thanks this.

Op you need to go back and read your other thread where people told you to get away from Schneider. You think going the lease operator route is going to change anything?

Lepton1 and Tx Countryboy Thank this.
