Can you become a cdl driver with a pacemaker?

I'm not sure.
I do know you can go as far as to request a special skills demonstration test with the regional director of the FMCSA.

Pacemakers that have a defibrillator component are an automatic disqualification for a cdl driver.
If you have a pacemaker that has NO defibrillator capability, you are good to go.

After driving the wrong jobs and/or working with the wrong carriers....for long enough....
...and you will NEED a pacemaker.
