Well that makes it clear as mud.
What was @stryker talking about with a provision of line 4 on duty and driving yes it is considered work if you are say on a customers property and moving trailers around. Explain to me how that "doesn't count towards hos" or in other words how it won't be counted on line 3 or 4 or better yet interrupt a rest period. -
On second thought
This is more ammunition to shoot holes the mandate and put it off for another 2 years at least -
Who is DeLorenxo and why should I believe him over the FMCSA guidance?
From: Regulations Section
Question 9: A driver drives on streets and highways during the week and jockeys Commercial Motor Vehicles in the yard (private property) on weekends. How is the yard time to be recorded?
Guidance: On-duty (driving). -
Hi could you please PM me what exactly are you talking about ? Thanks in advance !
-
Don't believe it... Logs will show miles discrepancy and if both drivers logged in at same time will show one as co driver
-
mile's discrepancy is editable/fixable on KT and on many others..
-
That's the main difference between eld and aobr. On eld the miles cannot even be edited by the office. The most that can happen is they are reassigned to someone else. That will leave a big ol red flag. Well more like a flashing neon sign during an audit.Cowpie1 Thanks this.

Depends on Elog system.
mhyn Thanks this. -
... and how the carrier admin configures the fleet system parameters, and until these get pushed out to the truck.Last edited: Dec 18, 2017
