Can you cheat an eLog?

Here's a thought. I know it's a bind blowing concept for some but here goes....How about you following the laws of HOS?

Log on as your buddy who is on vacation for a week. Ghost rider.

Log on as your company shag driver who came out to get you home. Let you drive his pov. Dont forget though, if caught you are fired or fired and going to jail depending circumstances.

Or do what i did friday before last; 1h15m from company or 2h from home.... i double checked the hours, the book, cussed the do5 and my company and pulled over on the ramp and slept for 8 hours... LOL.

 

This only works if you don’t certify your days. You will also need to be off for more the 36 hrs Canada or 34 states. This works on the 70/8 and 70/7 cycle. If you are at the end of your week cycle and want to keep going but can’t because you can’t start recap. Because of a zero well if you take your last zero from your reset edit the log put it as on duty let’s say for 10 hours your 7th day now becomes your 8th and so on. Basically you are pushing your log week back buy one day. For example if you start on Monday now you are showing you started on Sunday. Just be careful don’t hit 70 hrs. I hope I explained that clear enough. This. Puts you into recap one day faster or if you can two days faster. The rules are the same for paper and electric. If you knew how to work paper you can work this electronic babysitter.
