N. Charleston, S.C., Skateboard Company, Cornbinders, 10 speed Manual. Year 2000 or close.
Did 2 weeks with a Trainer, no "room" problem.
It was additional TRAINING, after ORIENTATION and SHOP TRAINING in Adjusting BRAKES.
It was actually my FIRST O.T.R. Company and Wife went, since WE drove our Car to Company. She drove home a little while before I split that scene in a Cornbinder with a Loaded Trailer.

>>Actually The Trainer and I went to Baltimore, MD., where he went Home for 2 days and I received the introduction to The Travel Plaza at X57, I-95, MD.<<

International Double Bunk Sleepers, then, probably still Run International, I know not.
Saw ZERO PROBLEM with Truck and Trailers.
Trainer and I did one wonderful run to Pocatello, Idaho. Some kind of "customer emergency".
Spent 3 days there, it was FUN!!
The REAL Trucking Days of Paper Log Books.
I've driven some other Models of Cornbinders (International). Some were not fun yet they were Legally Compliant.
Driven Models of Freightliners (mostly), Peterbilt, Kenworth.
Mack and Ford for Bulk Mail Turns.
Fords were the worst yet some Mack Models were competing.
NEVER Drove anything that didn't pass MY LEGAL INSPECTION or any other Inspection, even Locally.
Drive What The Company Has/Companies Have or Go Do Something Not Driving.

If all they ran was intertrashanals I'd be willing to do so.Another Canadian driver and MSWS Thank this.

Volvo 860? Is a nice truck to team in, nice and roomy. My second choice would probably be a T-680 for teaming.
It’s not at all unreasonable to expect something decent. Just have to make it a priority when you’re weeding out your next company. You surely don’t want to be in an older Cascadia with the cabinets shaking nonstop.Another Canadian driver and MSWS Thank this. -
Would you want to be stuck in a Pro Star 24/7 with your wife?Another Canadian driver and MSWS Thank this.

I wouldn't mind trying a Volvo. I'd like to try most makes at some point.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

Yep, drove one of those plastic rattle traps (where duct tape didn't much help) before I stepped outta O.T.R.Another Canadian driver and Concorde Thank this.

I'll "guess" the Low Beam Headlights have been improved to where a Driver can actually SEE SOMETHING AT NIGHT!!??Speedy356 and Another Canadian driver Thank this.

I’m getting ready to step out of OTR, at least for a little while. It’s becoming insane out here now.
