Can you "saltie" guys explain this fee

Im an o/o and my company picks up all tolls through EZ pass and I dont pay a dime.

Any Company that doesn't spring the $14.99 a month for PrePass is stupid as one time it lets that truck past the scale to the shop with somthing that would have shut it down and needed a call out then it has more than paid for itself for a whole year

why do you guys work for such outfits as the swifts etc..in the world I don't get it

 

cause you got the tanker job i wanted....lol

 

All you have to do is apply I might hire you and I spring for the prepass

 

A dollar a week and you can opt out of it. Not really something that would be a factor in choosing to work there or not I would think.

The $100.00 security deposit is a scam IMO. Why don't they just say you have to buy those things and they will buy them back from you when you leave?

 

Bet your ### I'd complain. Why should I have to pay a dime to do the job they hired me to do? It's their freight and their equipment and they reap the benefits more than the driver. They can pay their own #### bills.
