While I was driving to/from Oklahoma City this week, I noticed a whole bunch of non-white Swift tractors. Is that a coming thing? I have to say most of them looked pretty nice...

Yeah, I played hide the preplan with them for 2 days in Fl, they took an 1100 mile preplan to WV, and I asked whyyyyy I have the hours. " the responded with " this load was picked up already" I spent like $70 in tolls running around for them (all reimbursed by the way) only to get back the original load that supposedly picked had ben picked up already. Lol
@ denalidad those are probably lease trucks your seeing,i could be wrong though.

If they have big logos they are trucks pressed into service that were meant for L/O's. They needed the trucks making money. Nobody was there to flease them.

I turned down a load for hos. 20 miles mt pu @1000, 94 miles loaded delivery @ 2030 appointment only cannot deliver early, live ld and live unld. I'm not moving my truck to sit on a 114 miles load all day, and I only use 10 hrs out my 70 the day before, then I get a msg saying "no loads available" I just lol at the msg, they always have loads available, 15 mins later I get a 800 mile run. Thinking, thought they just say "no loads available"

Yeah that one was complete bs. I would take it but only if I called my DM and they backed it up with a nice juicy 3000 mile Maine to LA run or something like that.

I don't mind short runs if they pickup and deliver the same day. I seem to get more on the east coast so that is why I run the west now. Still go east sometimes but I get way more miles running west and don't have to deal with short runs that much

They kept me East a lot. I tried to go out West. Put myself on the 48 for a while. I still ran the same areas. When I switched to a comfort zone I got a run to CA. Go figure!
