Thank goodness that most Americans except for the few on this forum are not thinking that way.

I always had more problems going back to Canada. Crossing over to USA was never a problem, with the very notable exception of Detroit...Them guys and gals are just a pain in the butt. Every time I go on the road, I thank god I am crossing either in Buffalo or Lewiston.
I understand that they are just doing their jobs, but some officers (on both sides) are taking it a little too serious...Especially Canadian side. They can be a royal pain sometimes

I've always thought it funny how the Ca. guys have problems getting back home, just like the U.S. drivers getting back. The common thread for the most part is always Detroit/Windsor, or the other way around. Must be the water in the Detroit River, eh?:biggrin_2559:

    No, not really...
There is something in Niagara River too...It has to be....Every second crossing back to Canada, I am sent for a full inspection.
Lucky that Customs officers on US side don't drink that water...

But, that Detroit river must be soooooooooo polluted, don't you think??? And I bet that Customs officers from both sides drink from the same river...

    johnday Thanks this.

Look at it like this, it's all the same water, but by the time it gets to the Niagara, it's even more polluted.:biggrin_255:
