On a serious note, I suggest OP watch a couple of videos on this channel. Not sure if he is Canadian or just Upper Peninsula (almost the same, eh). (Edit: A truck he uses in one video, seems like it is his, has Ontario plates.) See if you can ask your question on their facebook page.
I enjoy their videos.

I think if immigrating to either country is a valid option for you and money is the over riding factor. Then the USA has more income potential.
The demographics in Canada are down hill, so more people will be competing for less jobs. Meaning more truckers will be working for less money.650cat425, tommymonza and AModelCat Thank this. -
