I wanna thank you for sharing and I appreciate it when I got the diagnosis the company that I worked for for a good long time after FMLA was completed they decided to send me a letter telling me we don’t need you no more so left me in my family and if it wasn’t for LLS once in while they they’re able to send a check if they have funding but lately they haven’t and I’ve just been dying here. Everything that I’ve worked towards building up I’m about ready to lose and it’s hard for me to walk so in my 80-year-old mom decided to start making my pickup payment which every day it kills me which also leaves the household short like this whole entire week we don’t have any ability to get any food in our house and again I’m waiting for Social Security because you can’t work there and I do assistance from the state but the state once back once Social Security kicks in I also get food stamps, which doesn’t help much when you have a big household and when you have kids that eat every hour on the hour201 Thanks this.

I already tried. I have money I still owe on the pick up. I tried to even trade in to get a smaller car because of the fact that it’s hard for me to get into it. It is a full-size pick up, but nobody will let me trade in because I still owe too much money on the pickup so lately I’ve been sleeping out in the pick up so for one so I won’t get sick because my blood is very bad and as far as treatment, they have me on what they call a Watch and weight so they’re waiting to see how bad it will get in if it turns in anything more and they say within five years, they should know how bad it’s gonna be

It depends on what cancer you have and where you live, you could turn to the local organizations to help out. I won't say much other than it sounds like you still have your semi truck in the first post, which if it is the pickup, never mind.
My wife has a freind who was fired from her job when she completed her FMLA paper work and she ended up suing the company over it and winning. She also had to turn to several organizations and peice together grants, loans and "hand outs" (her term) to pay the bills, it was as much work as healing.
So GO and get in SSI, this is what it is for. You paid into it, use it, Get on medicaid too, as mention there is a lot of things it pays for.
Best of luck to you.Accidental Trucker and tscottme Thank this. -
There's 3 food pantries where I live and people are allowed to go to all 3.
I went to a couple just to see what was going on. I informed them that I don't need the free food because I can buy my own. I was told I still qualify.
If you go to all 3 places you'll have a car full of banana boxes full of good high quality food, including refrigerated and frozen food.
No, I don't go there; just went once for the learning experience.
