I was looking at air ride just to get a smoother ride. I put in a engineer request with peterbilt and they came back with $7000 parts list to convert. I then started looking at the 12 guage customs kits.

tbh i got nothing against 12 gauge but what i've heard is 12ga is a rip off design and copy of Mike Horsts airride kit. Both will get the job done but most show trucks/work trucks got his kit ondustinbrock Thanks this.

Dickerson Custom Trucks in Indiana makes his own kit. Pretty slick.

	Yeah. You'll scrape on everything.

LOL im not even promoting kits for anyone but if you guys got instagram blt730 put the dickerson kit on his old ride while getting his truck all redone by them and he had lots of trouble with it

Do you have blocks in the front, or just a shim? My 389 as a very small block, looks to have about te same gap as yours though.
Just took delivery of 2 new 389s, one with air trac and the other with neway. 14600 steer axle, interesting though is the truck with neway has about 2 1/2" less gap from the fender to tire. Same steer tires as well

Mine has a wedge block under the spring and a shim between each leaf.

	I had a '07 379 with cab mounted mirrors.
