The main thing about Prime is their training last for an extended period of time relative to everyone else. Meanwhile, you are earning slave wages and are basically a slave to a trainer. Then if and when you ever test out, which is a mighty big if, they will finagle you into a lease purchase deal with hardly any experience at all into one of their Cascadias with half a sleeper and brainwash you into driving 58 mph and believing you have a wonderful job.

You will have to wait no matter what form of trucking you do. I haul reefers, but I always hear the stories from US Express and other dry box companies. Going all over town looking for an empty trailer. Never had that problem hauling reefers. Most of the larger companies are strict on BMI so plan on getting a sleep study and being 21 you will limit yourself on who will hire you. Most want 23 and up. Living where you live also effects who will hire you. I'd check and see if JR has the BMI requirements if not get on with them. I hear prime has there on sleep study deal so probably going with them would be the best case scenario and they are always in the North East. But sure that Light weight truck would be cramped being a big guy. But I have seen bigger guys in Cabovers even though they looked very uncomfortable.
