Can't make up my mind!!!

Me thinks someone is recalling the good ole days through rose colored glasses. I distinctly recall jb hunt advertising .18cpm.

 

First job I got driving in '84 was .22/mile and I climbed steadily to .50/mile in the early 90's and backing up ever since.

 

Personally, I'd rather the 2,000 miles @ $800 over the 2,600 @ $806. That comes out to only six dollars more per week for the extra 600 miles. I'm not lazy, but if those would be the only options, I'd take similar money for less miles. You'd get more rest and somewhat more of a life, even if it is on the road.
