Can't move shift lever

    I have a 2002 International 3800 series bus with an automatic transmission. I can not move the shifter out of neutral. Originally I had the brake pressure warning light staying on and the warning buzzer going off. I noticed that the brake pressure switch on the side of the master cylinder was broken off. I replaced the switch, now the light goes off and the buzzer has stopped, but I can't put it in gear. Can anyone please help me!

    chock the wheels, and disconnect the battery for 5 full minutes, then reconnect.

    could be something in the control unit that needs to reset itself.
