If you were told that you no longer need the green card, then it seems to me that the ceremony is just a formality and you already have your citizenship.

    Patience.
You will need to learn this, because as a truck driver, you have to have a lot.

Pick your first choice and get started. When you get the message for the ceremony, tell the company you need a couple of days for that and you will be right back.

1st of all...congratulations, and good luck on a speedy process. in your position, id take my list of companies and rate them as best i could from the one i wanted most to least. than id add another large company (usa truck?) to the bottom of my list (was there a reason you left them off the list?) now id take my bottom 2- the one i had no intention of working for, and my weakest choice on the list you gave. apply to them being completely straight about your situation with those two alone...see what happens. if both of them say no, make sure to try to find out all info possible on why not. if they both say yes, you can always put them off for a few weeks, even a couple months. either way, youve found out some information and answers from people similar to the companies you ACTUALLY WANT to work for, while burning no bridges with any of them.

From all reviews Ive read so far Millis and Central Refrigerated sounds the best for me and I think Roehl would come after. But there is Prime where Prime offer a long training period, their school is different compared to other companies and I think I would learn better like that, and also they have a high pay for starters to. Stevens Trasport I havent found to many negative things about them, only read a little in the report a bad trucking company section but from so far read that they train drivers good and that they have nice equipment and get longest length of haul in the industry. For Swift I read a lot of negative things about them but they have a lot of drivers and thats the part that is confusing me. But I wouldnt add Swift to the list only if I have no other choice. CRST has the most negative things about them. Looks like even more negative then CR England. They did accept me but they at the bottom of the list

I'm sure you can use any documentation you have from INS to proceed with a job application, that's assuming you have documentation. At the very least, you should have a letter stating that you will be notified of the swearing in ceremony, which you must attend to make it official. However, any prospective truck company might shy away from processing you until you have that certificate in hand. Also, bear in mind you might be 1500 mi from home when you get the letter and you DON'T want to miss the ceremony, right ?

Once you get your debt paid to the training company, there are some good jobs in Nashville.

    Howard Baer - Nashville
    Interstate Distributor - Lebanon
    Western Express - Nashville
    Pyles Transport - Nashville
    Bulkmatic - Hopkinsville/Clarksville
First Express - Freightliner Dr. Nashville
    & a few others
