Everyone starts somewhere. A lot of the training programs from these large carriers are highly criticized, but a large part of it is on the new driver, as well. If you pay attention, don't shy away from asking questions, and don't be afraid to speak up if you get a "trainer" who doing their job halfassedly, you'll be much better off than someone who doesn't do these things. And, quite frankly, I'm glad to see someone on here who is enthusiastic about going into this and has a good a good attitude, as opposed to another member of the, "well, gub'mint said I needed to get a job, and they're paying for this, so I might as well do it since it lets me sit on my ### all day and get paid for it" crowd. Yeah. Haven't been swimming in years. Maybe now I'll be able to again since I don't live in the South anymore. I hate swimming pools, but there were too many alligators when I lived in Mississippi and too many water moccasins when I lived in NC for me to go swimming in ponds, lakes, rivers, et. al.
