For drivers information; I applied a while back to an ad for drivers online and received a call from a man offering a dedicated run. He could not tell me the commodity hauled or the receiver/shipper and said it was private at this time. He thoroughly answered job-related questions and stated they have 400-500 trucks and he is the CEO. I checked online and the FSMCA has a report on a company of such name, but no address, There are no reviews for this FT. Worth Tx. based company. He stated that orientations are done by reading-over the company policy/procedures sent to your email. He then asked for my drivers license to be sent, and then after insurance approves it, I would send my bank account and transfer numbers to an email address for the accounting department.
Red Flags:
1. CEO's of a 400-500 truck company do not recruit drivers.
2. No reason not to inform driver of commodity hauled.
3. Companies do not ask for bank info until you are completely hired.
4. No mention of drug screen before all this.
5. No reviews from a large company.
6. Nothing provable that this company physically exists.
FYI.
