    Again, with my insurance provider:

    Min. 7 years auto hauling
    No accidents
    No claims
    No moving violations
    Excellent credit score

The biz has changed a lot over the years. It’s much more expensive for new entries and 2 years as far as insurance goes is new. But you have to keep going.

    Hello All,

Recently started my company. I will own the truck and have a CDL driver. Trying to decide on equipment (between Volvo 730, Freightliner cascadia 125, or possibly International ProStar +) and a 5 car trailer. Any input on those models is welcome (or if Im missing something).

From what I have read, insurance cost can play a big role possibly play a big role in equipment decisions. Is it possible to get insurance quotes before obtaining DOT number? Any insightful assistance is welcome. Thanks!
