If so how much can I make? - half a million should be fair estimate
Do I have to have my own instruments or do I just use the hospital's and wash them up and return them when I'm done? - you you use hospital tools its like LEASING , better have your own . there is an option LEASE TO BUY
I'm new to surgery so anybody who is doing this already your opinion whould be greatly appreciated - just google it dude , its not a rocket science , just cut and sew , get some trailing with pets , relatives , close friends and neighbors - they shouldn't mind

Now I took your advise on the practicing on friends and relatives but I ran in to some problems.
My best friend needed some quick brain surgery for a speech problem but after I got done he now barks like a dog and lifts his leg at every fire hydrant he passes.
Do you think I will have trouble finding a hospital that will hire me with this small indiscretion ?
Also I have $ 40.00 in my savings account is this enough in savings to become an owner operator surgeon?

Also I have $ 40.00 in my savings account is this enough in savings to become an owner operator surgeon?- almost enough , contractors knife is not expensive at home depot , hobby lobby will get you some needles and sewing stuff , menards will get you some clams , walmart - napkins and paper towel , gloves ... out of money already ? its not important at the beginning , just wash your hands before work and you will be good , couple surgeries and you can get yourself gloves finally ... not every surgeon has to use them - just the one that lazy to wash their hands ...oo you can borrow some best friends money , after your surgery he is not gonna need them for quite some time . you good to go dude !!!

Also can you tell me where you get your customers so I can get some? craigslist will be your best bet , if you wanna go all in full time ask someone to take a video of some of your surgery live (i hope you put your best friends on video - this will go viral on youtube , don't forget to put your phone number and address ) - make sure you are ready for huge turns of people next couple of days and unstoppable phone calls (might need secretary ... if you best friend better , ask him to be a live example in your office , could be your home garage at the beginning or even basement if real tight on the money) , word of mouth
And can you tell me what you charge your customers so I can under cut your prices and get customers too - depending how dumb the customer is , rip him off as much as you can , if no money for surgery - take cars , jewelry , bikes , designer clothing . in some case ask to put you in property deed if unsure about outcome . start with 500$ per 1" cut and raise depending on different factors - skin color , income , ethnicity blablabla

 

A few more questions about part time surgery.
What are the hos rules for surgeons?
Oviously they must be very stringent for someone who has a persons crainium opened up and there hands on there brain.
After all this is about safety and it's not like driving some truck down the road.
Is there mandatory electronic logging in the operating room or is it still done on paper?
How often can I expect the surgeon general to come in to the operating room and do a level 1 inspection during brain surgery?
What happens if I get put out of service for the light being out that I ware on the top of my head when doing surgery?
And lastly what happens if I run out of hours during brain surgery?
Do I just complete my 10 hour break and leave the person laying there or is there a way to cheat the logs so I can complete my job?
