I see what you are saying but in a scenario where the a car gets dropped of by the transport company at a target. I would just call my AAA service and have it towned to a mechanic for free.

Which transport companies do you recommend? I am sure I will need to find one in the future.
-
I understand if the car was not running when car was put on the transport. That would make sense its on a different fee schedule due to the extra work. I'm not sure what Central is.
The issue here is that the car drove on the transport, now I am being told car battery is dead so I will need to pay additional fees. There has never been an issue if the car was INOP from the beginning. That was not the case in my situation. I have pictures and videos to show that was not the case.
I understand your point of view since you have been a driver for 20 years. Its good to hear your opinion as well.KANSAS TRANSIT Thanks this. -
I was bombarded by 30 -40 quotes for transport. I discarded the cheapest and most expensive quotes and did my research through reviews and the better business bureau to eliminate some of my choices. I had a hard time finding a transport company (not a broker) that came highly recommended.

Ahh, Ok, no problem then!!!
-
And I'm willing to all of them were brokers. Only way to find a good transport company would be by recommendation and a direct number to them and not a broker.tech10171968 Thanks this.

If the battery is still dead and car don't run, when it gets delivered I guess you'll have confirmation.
-
I hope to get some recommendations from you guys! -
I doubt the battery will be recharged before it gets delivered to me. I'm expecting a dead car that I will need to get to my mechanic 's shop. At that point we can recharge the battery and get to the bottom of this.

Delivery Update | Never had such a bad transport experience
Met the truck transport 7:45am
Car was positioned closest to the driver cabin on the transport

Ramps were taken down above my car where they were stored. Truck Driver hit the roof of the car left a scratch.

Driver started the car. Battery was not dead! Car moved on its own power. Why was I charged $160 in Nebraska for a wrecking truck to pull my car off the transport? The driver attempted to drive the car over the ramps to unload the car and the left ramp collapses cracking my front bumper.

Eventually, car was driven off the transport again under its own power

After driver unloads from transport, he drives the car out into the middle of the street to make a U turn and bottoms out again on my front bumper! Unbelievable

Here is video of the front bumper damage

Submitted pictures and videos to Montway , they responded Monday morning. Asked me for multiple documents to present to Coast to Coast Transport. One of those items is the Bill of Lading from the Pickup location in New York. There was no paperwork given at the pickup point to the seller of the vehicle. The seller asked if there is something to fill out or sign and the driver said no. Montway Transport says this is VITAL to the claim. Montway is trying to be the mediator of all this.
Coast to Coast Transport has not responded in any way.
What do you think of all of this?
What should I do next?
