Doin' good man! Sometimes it's nice to take a break and get a hotel room every once and awhile. Help refresh you. Plus you get a little tv time too! It can be tough sleeping in a bed not moving though!

Sounds like your trainer probably won't be an over the road driver much longer. It's so tough having a family at home, especially a brand new baby.

    Good luck moneymac, keep chuggin!

He told me his relationship thrives when OTR and falls apart if he takes to much home time.

After we delivered the last ultimate electronics store I got to go home for one night, sure was nice getting home, even if for only one day and night. :biggrin_25520:
Got a load that picked up about 1/4 of a mile from my house (steel grape stakes) headed for California. That was Monday morning, delivered Tuesday then picked up a load of lumber going to Waroad Minnesota,

Dropped that load yesterday then I got to drive in white out conditions for about a half hour before the snow let up took three hours to go 90 miles where we picked up our next load going to Oregon, crane pads will try to get a picture of them them before we deliver them.

Ended up driving through this on the way to Minnesota

Looks like things are going really well for you - your wheels keep moving and that's a GOOD thing :)

You gotta watch out for that frozen fog out there! Oregon is famous for it! Makes for cool pictures though! Sounds like you are having a blast out there! You have reported on driving and such and sound happy, what is your take on the lifestyle aspect of it? Were you shocked or prepared? Is it what you expected for the most part? Just thought the newbies might want to get your perspective. Drive safe!

Thanks for posting moneymac! I am very interested in your progress as I may become a corporate refugee in the future myself. The Hubs is an O/O. :biggrin_25520:

Are you thinking riding along? or driving? I'm going the driving route - quite a change from nursing :biggrin_25523:

If it pans out, I would be driving team with the Hubs. He is a 30 year veteran and I am in corporate management. Big change for me too!

    Lady K Thanks this.
