So do you prefer to work for a small company or a mega? What type of freight you want to haul, flatbed, step deck, reefer, dry van, etc? Do you want to get a local position or stay OTR? I guess what I am trying to establish is what you think you might want to eventually move into.

For now I am looking to do dry van otr. Before becoming a truck driver I always worked for megacorporations and honestly that is where I am the most comfortable. That said I am willing to work in a smaller company as well, but prefer the big corporations. My career goals are to work 5-8 years as a driver before transitioning out of the industry.

I'd call up Danny Herman trucking and look no further. Don't drive in crappy weather, 3k miles is cake I would get 4K +. I took a week off each month, great bonus system that pays out.
