Careless Driving Question

Whatever you do make sure you get the go ahead or approval from several different companies before forking the money over to a CDL school. A lot of schools will tell you that you will be fine and have no problem getting a driving job with your record just to take your money. Once you finish school you will be on your own and finding a job maybe proven difficult. So try to find the job first! Typically your smaller companies will be more forgiving with your current driving record than the larger mega-carriers. This is actually a good thing and in favor because you will be forced to go with a smaller carrier which in turn will be much more successful for your future than these mega-carriers.

Really going to depend on the individual company and their particular insurance carrier. Like I said the smaller companies will be more forgiving.

 

I had a 2 yr old careless driving on my record when i went to school..and school said no problem geting a job..well school was full of ####...90% would not touch me...and mine was in my car...and a very very stupid ticket at that...now its 3 yrs old and hv yr and a half driving..now 95% will hire me..that 5% wants 5 yrs no careless...so yes u can get hired..i went flatbeding for 9 mnts out of school loved it..now im in a van..lol..gd luck..

 

You have a copy of your MVR? Or are you guessing it's their? Insurance companies can pull up a version of an MVR but driveing companies are going to pull up their own copy. The best thing to do if you didn't already is to go to dmv and get a lifetime copy for yourself.

Different states have a slightly different definetion of careless driveing. anthing from crossing a solid line to incorect lane change to speeding ( not considered reckless)

I found some pretty odd stuff on mine, that I got cleared up, because I never did the stuff on their, not that I didn't have to jump through hoops to do so.

I GOT OFF THE WRONG EXIT IN MY CAR...WENT TO THE TOP OF RAMP 3 CHOISE ..1 GO LEFT.2 GO RIGHT,OR GO STRAIGHT ACROSS AND BACK ON BYE PASS..WELL THAT IS illegal IN MICHIGAN..WAM,,CARELESS DRIVING..WTF.....
