Google "RigDig" - its brand new to the industry & gives you what you're looking for for Class 3 all the way up to Class 8 trucks.
nightrider1 Thanks this. -
One minor note; I had a car back in '85 that was involved in a serious accident. Insurance co. decided it could be rebuilt, and sank $22k into the project before abandoning hope. I ended up selling car back to the rebuilder for the loan value. About two years ago, i was buying a used car, and decided to pay for a carfax subscription (or whatever it's called). As a gag, i ran the vin for the car i 'totalled' back in '85. Carfax returned its registration state right up to '92, but NO MENTION of an accident or major repairs. Same for the car i eventually purchased; dealer told me there were signs of front end repairs, but the vin thru carfax returned nada.
I guess that the only things Carfax or a similar service for Class 8 trucks would report are things reported to them. Caveat Emptor. -
I just looked at rigdig. on the site you can input a vin and it will tell you if it has info on that vin. I entered a random vin off an ad on truck paper and rigdig came up with the make, model and year of the truck. Looks like a good option to try .

Looks like RigDig is the way to go.... Going to give it a try......

Rigdig is nowhere near perfect, it misses stuff that carfax gets. If you're looking at Canadian vehicles Carproof is the best bet. But I've had trucks where each of the three missed things that the others picked up.

Does anyone know any application to keep tracking your truck maintenance?
