what is required by DOT rules, and EACH time you stop for ANYTHING.....put a line down in the comments section (if it takes less than 15 minutes), and mark it "check load" this will be a CYA in case of a problem at a later time.....

Straps, chains, blocking, bracing, tarping..all that good stuff. For everything you'll be hauling, there is no way to learn everything in 2-3 days. But you will learn the basics, you'll learn what's required, you may even learn a few tips or tricks. Your trainer will also be an invaluable asset and one you can ask all kinds of questions to...like that load where you look at it and think "how the heck am I going to secure that?"
