    Do not drive for cargo transport out of Claremont NC. They will not hire you if you have ever had a workers comp claim. I applied and they called me and the recruiter told me i might as well have wreacked a truck as filed a workers comp claim. That is so unfair like i wanted to get hurt and have surgery.:biggrin_25511:

    Well, if they won't hire you, you won't be driving for them, so this problem would be self-solving, I would think.

    I was injured in an accident, and the company that handles the workman's comp desperately tried to get me to file a claim. I can't imagine how it would have been in their best interest, but I didn't see anything at all to be gained from it. I just called an attorney.
