you run teams and most loads are to California so thats about 2500 miles. I have left SC on a friday around 430.pm going to L A and would get into the Ontario Truck Stop on Sunday morning. Deliver Monday Morning, shoot over Perris CA and drop and hook a loaded trailer at ROSS DC. Average weight of of those loads is under 20 thousand.
be in Orlando in 48 hours so you have a little over 5000 miles from friday till wed and put your paperwork in the ups box and the money is on your card by 12 pm the next day.
On time bonus wich is easy to get unless your lazy and want to sit in the truck stop and watch some dumb ### ball game. so at 14 cents a mile and driving half it personally my gross pay would be about 780.00.
I have the paperwork to back this up. if your out of school and have no experience then yes you would start at 10 cents but at this time because of all the wrecks caused by these greenhorns, the insurance company is now requiring 2 years for Carolina Cargo to hire you. Too Bad -
I have been with cc now for three months n the pay is so so bout 500 a week but as many of the other drivers thr drop n hook os great that produce sucks

Cc no good

Drop an Hooks are not the Norm...there mostly running produce to get back out of California, running it out of Yuma now a days. They are still hiring straight out of school, so the insurance requirements are either not being followed or they just don't care...and there still hiring felons straight out of Jail

my husband currently works at cc. it pays very little but its a starter job just somewhere to get your foot in the door. his first trip he was gone a month and sat 11 days total out of the month. he did come back home for a few days and out again. right now hes sat more than he has drove! they are however pretty lax about how much time you take off before you come back. so far they have paid him pretty quickly. the one downfall on that so far is his last check from his last run hasnt been paid yet im not sure why they hold that until you do another run and turn in your trip packet. you do have to complete 3 runs before you get time off. if your options are limited and you really wanna truck then give it a try i dont suggest sticking around for long you definitely wont make a good living working there. they charge you if your late for a load that comes out of your pocket!
