How many O/O using the JB carrier 360 load board?
We have been on it for a while and its been pretty good, but im curious to see what if any issuez drivers are having. I know we would rather see a more direct broker contract rather than dealing with a different #### person every single load.

Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

Not sure if you'll find that (direct broker contract) with a big 3PL like JB. I use it but very rarely get a load off of it. It's still one of the tools in the toolbox though.
jason6541 Thanks this. -
We don't use it.

I’ve used it multiple times. Works great for me. As has been said it is just another tool.

Btw, the absolute dumbest thing I have seen using the APP is people making offers without researching the lane or just being completely dumb to what a load should pay. If you subscribe to Truckstop or DAT etc always check to see if JB posted the load there also. Often they will list the load at much higher than they do on the 360 app if they even list the price at all.
Example… there are two loads posted on 360 app. Going to the same place. No rate posted on 360 app. The loads are also posted on load boards With rate listed over $3.64 a mile for over 1600 miles to an area with no good freight coming out. To me that needs to pay more. However some fool has gone in a offered to haul that load for $1700 less than what it is listed for on load boards. What kind of fool takes that load for about $1.00 per mile less than what it is posted for? Probably because they are too cheap to pay for a load board subscription even though the rate posted on the load board would pretty much cover the subscription for the year. That one load. So I’m sure JB will gladly give it to them at that low offer and that company is shorting themselves nearly $2k. Just dumb. Research is all that is needed and people wonder why broker post stuff for insanely low offers because there is a sucker born everyday. -
You never really know who was awarded a load and for how much.
I agree, you need to know the lane pay potential not to make too modest bid.Last edited: Sep 24, 2021
Reason for edit: calm down, I said to myself! Breath! Have a drink...and I did...Boondock, Lite bug, Chieftains and 4 others Thank this. -

I don’t sit around and analyze whether it is them who post the lowball offer or not. Why waste brain cells on that? Whoever it is, is an idiot, although maybe it works lolol I don’t know. It doesn’t affect how I would bid on it, especially after the research. I also never post a bid without them on the phone and a verbal offer is agreed upon and they accept it right away. I am not sitting around wondering whether or not my bid “won”. If they don’t like the rate on the phone then there is no sense placing an offer. They don’t like it move on. I wouldn’t do that with any other broker and I am not doing it with them. How all their divisions work or just the open deck group I talk to I have no idea. They definitely pull their fair share of shenanigans.
Also please share what I posted above was cause for you to need to calm down and need a drink?

Boondock and staceydude Thank this. -
Well, it wasn’t my intention to spool anyone up. Like I said, people are taking some of these loads way under value. I’m sure JB is doing exactly what you say but it must be working. My main point was for whoever gets on there do some more research so they don’t get screwed.
I hope your drink was a good one lol.
