    Yep, most of it is legal jumbo to protect themselves, should the worst happen. I’ve never had a cargo claim. There’s been damaged freight, minor stuff that happens on either end. They work it out. The stuff I watch for are fines for being late, or not checking in daily by a certain time. Again rarely enforced. Communication is key, when there’s a problem, to avoid any enforcement of the terms. The Bigger the Brokerage, the more terms they have. Like any Bussiness, the deeper your pockets, the bigger the target you become.
