Do you think that would be quiet enough that I wouldn't disturb my Trucking Neighbors at the truck stop as we all try to get a restful night sleep?

I want to ask the question on why not get a thermoking? If you are doing this for an AC believe me it’s better to get the APU. Less of a hassle and it’s quiet.

I didn't talk to "A" person, talked to multiple people. A couple at scales said they didnt know, those guys you may get by at an inspection. The rest, you wont. And that will be a royal pain in the ###.
Still doesnt say anywhere there that a diesel truck can have GAS on board also. 393.67 is just about tank construction. MAYBE its changed in 4 years, but I did the homework, asked the questions and got the answers.
    Grey area.
As I said, do, let me know how it works out, I'd love to have the same setup.

I don't know how loud it is. But I am sure its not louder than a reefer unit.

If a diesel truck couldn't have gas on board you don't think the FMCSA would have written that down?
Where does it say a diesel truck can't have gas on board? Where does it say a diesel truck can't have more than 8 gallons of gasoline for auxiliary equipment?
Going back and forth with you about this is pointless because it's clear whoever told you that is wrong.
DOT regulations are not up for interpretation there is no grey area in the DOT regulations.
