hammer back (won’t let me use the c word)if SA (most strikers can’t be decocked)and manual safety engaged. Condition zero either has no manual safety (Glock, M&P most striker pistols) or its in the fire position.

I transitioned from shooting bulls eye (Now precision pistol) in the military to a Model 66 with a SP agency (At the time they did not allow semi autos) and then back to semi autos. Now I do an assortment.

This video explains how Glocks work and that they do have a safety.

Back to OP. You have a right to lawfully carry a firearm. Unless you are violating the law the company cannot file charges against you legally. Key word is lawfully.

The truck is their private property and they can terminate your employment for violating company policy.

Yes you have rights but so do they.

We have had instructors from Israel and also here in Arkansas who were trained for using the handgun (Some also had rifle training) in the specific manner of deadly force to stop a threat.

I just hope to god I never have to draw. But I already know deep inside if the day goes that bad then so be it.

Just one more thought. Since our cancer treatments was finished we continually update living will, medical will, end of life will, directives and so forth. So that if I did decide to draw and get taken out by the bad guy everything is already "Decided" no matter what happens then. No stress from having to make decisions, pay for or otherwise worry about this that or other by the mountain pile after a death or serious injury. Life insurance in particular combined with other insurances such as Civil.

I think when most people say Glocks have no safety they actually mean to say that Glocks have no manual safety that a person has to deliberately disengage to fire the weapon or deliberately engage to render the weapon “safe”. Sometimes assumptions are made in conversations and verbal shortcuts are taken.

On the way home this morning I got to get a good close look at a P320-M17 my ride had in his car! Beautifully balanced firearm. It makes me want to get one!
