Carter Express In.

Carter is a great company. Not like these larger copy and paste cheap freight companies ..Werner,Swift,Schneider etc... some of the best performance bonuses and fuel bonuses of many companies... Great staff for the most part and a wide variety of routes

 

Hello Rick, brand new to the forum so I'm learning as I go. I will be moving to Anderson and may very well end up at Carter. I would really appreciate any advice. Yes, I'm still with Carter. Have no plans on leaving either. We've got more freight than we know what to do with, a substantial across the board pay raise and additional benefit package being revealed nests weekend. I plan on retiring from this company.

Almost two years now.

 

I am 30 minutes away from Carter Express , I am here on vacation from South Korea. I am from Indiana originally and hoping to move back here soon.
Question for the Carter Express drivers: Do you think if I went to their office in Anderson, IN that they would show me around and explain the company to me.
I am not wanting to start now but would like to see the place , equipment and ask about what school I should attend and if they pay anything for school.
Also their training , how long and what to expect.
